In 2014, my in-laws gathered all eight of their children, their spouses, and their grandchildren around a table.
They had an idea — a family bank. We would all contribute. We'd set shared goals. We'd build something together that none of us could build alone. We talked about who would hold the money, how much each person would contribute, and what we were saving toward — assets and wealth we could all have access to as a family.
That was twelve years ago. It was the only meeting we ever had.
Not because the idea was wrong. Not because the family didn't care. But because there was nothing to hold it together after everyone went home — no system, no structure, no way to keep the intention alive between conversations.
That's why I built Prudently.
